BIGFOOT 200 ENDURANCE RUN

2024 (68 yrs old)

Bigfoot 200 is a 207 mile footrace through varied terrain of the Cascade Mountains of Washington state.


Mike was the oldest participant in the race! He finished 114th out of 133 total finishers (124 official finishers), and 202 starters.


Due to a nearby fires, the original trail was changed to a 50 mile route which the participants completed back and fourth 2 times.

Race Across the West

2022

As a two-person team, Mike DeNoma and Brent Sheldrake took on the American west—riding 930 miles across California, Arizona, Utah, and Colorado, with total climbs of 35,000ft.


Due to a 50 mile reroute, Mike and Brent were unofficial finishers, finishing (in 70 hours) 2 hours outside the limit.

Mike placed 110th out of 144 starters and 111 finishers.

Mike raised $65,000 to fund over 100 surgeries through the SmileAsia mission to change the lives of children in Myanmar (Burma).

Tahoe 200 Ultra Endurance Run

2017

Tahoe 200 is 205 mile footrace along the rocky and hilly perimeter of Lake Tahoe in the mountains of Nevada, United States.

Mike placed 116th out of 180 starters and 123 finishers.

Orphanage Build in Myanmar (Burma)

Raised $64,000 USD to build an Orphanage for kids with HIV AIDS in Myanmar.

Brazil 160 m

2016

Brazil 160 is an ultramarathon of 160 miles on a mountainous trail in Brazil with a time limit of 60 hours.


Mike DeNoma placed 17th out of 23 starters.

Caring for Cambodia

Caring for Cambodia is a charity organization focused on improving the lives, and more specifically, education of children in Cambodia.


Mike DeNoma raised about £28,000 GBP ($35,000 USD).

6633 Arctic Ultra

2015

The 6633 Arctic Ultra is a 120 mile ultramarathon in the Arctic, Canada that contains flat and mountainous terrain.

Make-A-Wish Foundation (UK)

Raising $46,000 in donations for the United Kingdom Make-A-Wish Foundation to give dying children a final wish, Mike raised enough money for the wishes of more than 23 dying children.

Badwater 135 Ultra

2013

Badwater is a 135 mile ultramarathon in California's Death Valley (the hottest place in the world).

Orphanage in Brazil

Raised money to build a gymnasium for a girls orphanage in Brazil.


Mike DeNoma raised about £56,000 GBP ($78,000 USD).

Brazil 135 is an ultramarathon of 135 miles on a mountainous trail in Brazil with a time limit of 48 hours.

Mike DeNoma ran Brazil 135 for a second time and finished with hours to spare after completing it outside the time limit in 2012 due to misdirection.

"Light up a Life" is a Taiwanese charity to help support underprivileged kids and orphans with physical and mental developmental needs.
